Ratnapura - Shining Among Gems💎.

      Ratnapura is known as the gem city of sri Lanka. When we look at it that way, Ratnapura is truly a city that sparkles with gems. I have a special love for this city where I live. That love becomes even deeper because of the precious gems hidden beneath land.

      Ratnapura District has become world - famous because of the valuable gems found there. Especially blue sapphires, rubies and garnets are discovered beneath its soil. Gem mining in Ratnapura is mostly carried out using traditional methods.







                                                 






    Sri Lankan gems have great value in the world market. The blue sapphires that became famous worldwide under the name"Ceylon Sapphire"have especially high demand. Because of this, Ratnapura city makes an important contributions to sri Lanka's economy.
 
      In my opinion, Ratnapura is not just a simple city. It is like a future hidden beneath the earth. Whenever a gem shines in my hand, l always wonder how many more precious stones are still hidden under this land. That is why the words"Ratnapura shining among gems" are not simple to me. They express the pride I feel for my city💎.

My Silent World Found Amidst the Water Droplets 🍃🏞️.

  The river flowing below our home is more than just a simple stream of water to me. It is like a friend who speaks to my soul. When there is no one to talk about my day, that river is the only place where I feel truly heard. A little further down the river, you find the "Miniran waterfall". Watching the water droplets fall from above, glistening like golden gems, it feel as if time itself has stood still for a moment. That sound.... that cold breeze.... together to create an indescribable sense of peace within my heart. That place is the best because when I go there I forget myself.
